CREATING SACRED SPACE
The time of darkness and reflection passes and we enter a period of growth and new beginnings. Spring Solstice occurs on March 19, 2020 which leads us into more daylight and a celebration of life, renewal, growth and fertility.
The promise of renewal brings opportunities to enhance our spiritual practices by creating a sacred place that has spiritual meaning. Your own sacred space reminds you of the importance of connecting with spirit and establishes an energy which honours your beliefs. Whether your space is a separate room or a special place around your home does not matter - what is important is that your sacred space reflects what is meaningful to you and what connects you to spirit.
To begin with going forward into this time of new beginnings, we will reflect on aspects of creating sacred space. Creating an altar, smudging and cleansing and intention are all ways to honour yourself and help you design and define what a sacred space means to you.
